NO MORE MONDAY BLUES...
Last night i wrote an entry entitled MONDAY BLUES. Right after writing that entry, i went to my room and was getting ready for bed and decided to do my quiet time then. And i'm glad i did my quiet time. I just felt like God had taken away all the uneccessary stress and fear that was upon me that day. Here was what He said to me:
Dearest Daughter of mine,
I see and I care. I know, right down to the final num, exactly where you are in life. I know what I am doing. I know the pain of your heart right now. But believe me, I am touched with your situation. And i have a plan. I am working out the details of your deliverance even now. TRUST ME!
And then he led me to read Exodus 6 - a conversation Moses had with God at the time when he was to lead God's people out of Eygpt. God reminded Moses of who He is, "I am the Lord." I guess, after that quiet time with God, when i learn to shut everything out and just focus on Him who sees and cares, the peace and assurance He gives is so real.
Remember this, that when God is at work, suffering, setbacks and hardships may occur. In James 1:2-4, we are encouraged to be happy when difficulties come our way. Problems develop our patience and character by teaching us to: (1) trust God to do what is best for us; (2) look for ways to honor God in our present situation; (3) remember that God will not abandon us and; (4) watch for God's plan for us. When we face great problems, God has an opportunity to exercise His great power...(and i personally told God that this is a great opportunity for him to show His awesome power...coz i know what i'm doing now cannot be done on my own strength)...Big problems put you in a perfect position to watch God give big answers...(and God, I'm watching attentively).
